The picturesque village of Mauguio, located in the heart of Hérault, is home to the Domaine de La Clausade and its 5 distinct homes called 'Mas', an authentic gem in a peaceful location totally out of sight, an island surrounded by vineyards as far as the eye can see.
This wine estate is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends, cut off from the world, although a few minutes from the center of the neighboring village and 20 minutes to Montpellier.

The space
Mas Muscaris is an independant 3 bedrooms home with a large living room that can be partially be closed to create a forth bedroom with its private shower room and separate toilet. Each of the three main bedrooms located on the first floor have their own en-suite shower room and are equiped with twin beds that can either be joined together or separated upon request. The main living area located on the ground floor has an open kitchen and large bay windows opening onto a private terrace with jacuzzi and direct access to the surrounding vineyards.
Mas Muscaris is equiped with floor cooling system and a central heating , private parking in front of the property and outdoor equipments such as dining table and chairs, sun loungers and parasol.

The property can be rented individually or joined with the next door Mas Souvigné, Mas Syrah, Mas Sorelly or Mas Grenache which all belong to the same Domaine de la Clausade.
Each of these 5 properties have their own private outdoor spaces which don't overlook each other for total privacy.

The surroundings of Mas Muscaris offer a multitude of activities, from bike rides through the estate's vineyards, using the bikes provided, to further afield along the irrigation canal or towards the ponds. Organised bike or horse rides can also be planned on request. Water sports are easily accessible on the beaches (the nearest ones are 17 minutes away), as well as the rental of sailing or motor boats. A little further away, about 10 minutes by car, are some of the best spots in France for kitesurfing.

For the less sporty, a visit to the Mauguio Market is a must as it is well known for the quality of its producers. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the best wines of the Languedoc thanks to the numerous opportunities for wine tour visits in the region's vineyards as well as at the Viavino pole in Lunel.

Finally, you will be able to relax on the private Paillottes by the sea or have lunch there with family or friends.
