This traditional village house is ideally located in the quiet village of Saint Pons de Mauchiens not far from the main Languedoc activities such as city strolls of Sète, Pezenas, Montpellier, within easy reach to the beaches and close to lots of sports activities.
While keeping its authentic charm, this lovely home offers all modern amenities in a beautifully decorated style with colourful and chic details and easy to live furniture.  Here, the Languedoc style is kept in every detail: the elegant stone stairs and tall ceilings, the large bay windows and fireplace.
The spacious living space is organised on one side with large sofas facing a beautiful stone fireplace, on the opposite side with the dining table and at the centre, an open kitchen and bar. The living room with triple exposure opens up onto a terrace of an equal size, which will host diners ‘al fresco’ enjoying stunning views over the surrounding vineyards and countryside
Right below the terrace, going down a set of steps is the beautiful swimming pool surrounded with 8 sunbeds and parasols which also enjoys stunning unbroken views.
On the other side of the ground floor, a cosy seating area / TV room leads to a double bedroom with its en-suite shower room with a direct access to a private terrace.  Rising up from the hallway, a beautiful stone staircase leads to the upper floors which accommodate 5 more bedrooms. One double bedroom with en-suite shower-room is independently located halfway up the stairs, and 4 more bedrooms are on the first floor including a master bedroom with its en-suite bath and shower room, a twin bedroom (with two double beds)  and 2 further double bedrooms sharing a shower room and a separate toilet room.  
Saint Pons de Mauchiens is a typical Languedoc village with just one café bar selling fresh bread everyday. Less than 1 kilometre away, in the next door village of Saint Pargoire are further very good grocery stores.  Further away, about 15 minute drive, the Saturday market of Pezenas, is a famous bustling market with plentiful of fresh local products.
Ideally located half way between Sète, called the Venice of Languedoc, and Pezenas, an attractive medieval town which holds the cultural heritage of Molière, this lovely village house will also be the perfect starting point to enjoy the world renowned oysters of Bouzigues and historical cultural sites such as the Abbey of Valmagne or the abbey of Villeveyrac.
Finally, the area is also famous for its local wines, and many vineyards will be happy to welcome visitors for wine tastings.
